3. The next step,which the
Geographical Section of the War Office
also
are prepared to undertake,involves
the adjustment of this Observatory
Figure to bring the measures into
complete harmony with the work already
adjusted.
4. The completion of the work
would then require the computation of
the geographical and rectangular
co-ordinates of the stations of
the triangulation net, a task which the
Geographical Section of the War Office
are not in a position themselves to
undertake.
They are however prepared
to put the work out for computation at
an estimated cost of £30 and I have to
enquire whether you wish this to be
done.
